This website showcases a variety of prints from Linda's twenty-seven year painting career. Many of you have hung her folk art calendars in your home for many years or mailed her holiday card to friends. We are excited to bring to you canvas transfers of her latest art that can be displayed with pride in your home. These canvases are standard size, which means that a suitable frame can be easily found at any art or craft store.

Linda's inspiration for her paintings stems from her life on the family's farm, which was home to five generations. Bunnies in the garden, kittens in the hayloft and fuzzy lambs in the meadow were prized finds during her explorations of the farm. Grandma Belle's recollections of her life as a young girl during horse and buggy days always fascinated Linda. Today, Linda finds new and constant inspiration from her surroundings, whether it is a breathtaking sunset or the beautiful snow covered hills of Connecticut.

Lovers of folk art will thoroughly enjoy stepping into Linda's idyllic world of yesterday's America.

A word from the artist

FALL OF 2009 HAS ARRIVED!

The golden shades of the meadow are accentuated by tall trees wearing gorgeous fall colors that seem to brighten by the hour. Seriously! It is difficult to concentrate on my painting whenever I glance out my studio's many window panes. Beautiful deep purple asters in the garden provide the perfect accent. The peak of color is considered to be mid October here in beautiful Litchfield County.

It is time to visit one of our many apple orchards to buy juicy apples for making my Grandma Belle's wonderful applecake. Of course, we'll have to bring some pumpkins and pots of mums home.

My little dogs, Mary Rose and Lily, love to sniff the fallen leaves with their busy little noses. Now, if only them could rake the leaves into great, heaping mounds, instead of bringing them into the house, fastened to their silky coats! Mary Rose and Lily appear in almost all of my paintings. Mary Rose is a black and white Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Lily is a mostly white (a few red spots and mask) Papillon.

I would be happy to personalize any item you may choose. Simply let us know what names you would like on them.

ALSO - we will be happy to send you a gift when you order any 3 items of your choice. (includes prints) You may choose a small calendar booklet for your purse (handy for recording appointments) or a desk calendar (featuring 365 of my paintings)

Best wishes,
Linda
